While AAIC was purchased by Sunvair in 2015, its history goes back much further. The company was founded in 1987 by an avionics technician from Pan Am and a former executive from Allen Aircraft Radio (AAR). It began by repairing components for the U.S. Coast Guard and gained traction by providing engineer-approved repairs and solutions for major commercial airlines. AAIC’s facilities were integrated into our Sunvair Tulsa operation, focusing on avionics, instruments, and accessories.
